The High Court has resumed the hearing of proceedings taken by Mr Paschal Phelan, founder of the Master Meat Packers Group, against Mr Larry Goodman and a Jordanian businessman and former partner in Master Meats, Mr Zakaria el Taher. Mr Justice Murphy is hearing a number of actions regarding the affairs of Master Meat Packers involving Mr Phelan, Mr Goodman and Mr Taher.
The opening of the case by Mr James Salafia SC, for Mr Phelan, is expected to conclude shortly. It will be followed by opening submissions by Mr Dermot Gleeson SC, for Mr Goodman, before the hearing goes into evidence.
