Developed by Goodbody's Technology Law Unit, it offers up-to-date and comprehensive Internet related information. Key focus areas include information technology, intellectual property, internet law, e-commerce, encryption, telecommunications law and Y2K issues. Regularly updated, the site promises supplementary articles on the legal effects of developments in technology, and it will feature an extensive archive.
Announcing the launch of the Technology Law site, Mr David Sanfey, head of technology law at A & L Goodbody said: "The establishment of our Tech Law sub-site will enable us to share some of our legal know-how and general knowledge with our clients and the wider public in the area of technology law. The expertise of our team of specialists is now available on the web."
