Five new businesses have been short-listed as finalists in the 1997 Johnson Brothers Centenary Awards for Enterprise. The companies, selected from an entry of more than 30 businesses North and South, are: Singularity, a Derry software development company; The Narrow Ltd, restaurant operator of Strangford Lough, Co Down; Irish Hammersely Pottery, manufacturer of ceramics from Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh; Bay Street Trading, manufacturer of corporate clothing from Derry and Salta Tours, the Dublin company which specialises in tours to Nordic countries. The awards will be presented in Dublin next Tuesday.
