DUBLIN is hosting the 10th annual European Finance Convention from November 25th to 29th. The convention, sponsored by The Irish Times, will provide an analysis of the Irish EU Presidency and of the decisions to be taken at the December Inter Governmental Conference in Dublin.
The topics covered will range from the single currency debate and North/South co operation to regional policies and their impact.
Speakers include EU Commission president, Mr Jacques Santer, chairman of the European Investment Bank, Mr Brian Unwin, Central Bank governor, Mr Maurice O'Connell and former GATT director general and EU Commissioner, Mr Peter Sutherland.
A session on the practical implications of EMU will be addressed by Bundesbank council member, Mr Franz Christopher Zeitler.
