Eurologic Systems is to create 150 jobs at its expanded premises at Clonshaugh in Dublin. The company, which provides network storage technology, currently employs 240 people in the Republic.
The jobs will be highly skilled positions in research and development, manufacturing engineering, customer support and administration.
The company was founded in Dublin in 1988 and employs 316 worldwide.
It recently announced a new research and development facility in Galway and is adding staff to its research and development unit in Kilkenny.
Announcing the expansion yesterday, chief executive, Mr John Maybury, said: "The explosion in the use of the Internet and the huge increase in demand for information among companies and consumers alike has created unprecedented demand for the storage of information."
