E-learning for health managers

The Minister for Health and Children, Mr Martin, yesterday unveiled two new e-learning programmes for non-financial managers and nurse managers in the health service.

The financial management programme was introduced by the Office for Health Management in response to a survey it commissioned that revealed many health care professionals wanted to improve their financial management skills. The programme covers financial reporting, costing and auditing.
