Higher earning PRSI contributors are to receive free or subsidised dental treatments - seven months later than promised, writes Jill Kerby. A new agreement between the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs and the Irish Dental Association on a scheme to compensate dentists for the loss of fee income from high-earning patients - and their dependant spouses - has cleared the way for the introduction of the new arrangements.
