DCC has acquired oil distribution business Bayford Oil in a €24.7 million deal

DCC has acquired oil distribution business Bayford Oil in a €24.7 million deal. Operating from 14 locations, principally in the north of England, Bayford Oil has a fleet of 60 road tankers and 155 employees.

The firm sold 468 million litres of oil in the year to the end of June last, including 155 million litres of petrol and diesel sold to independent dealer-owned petrol stations which trade under the Gulf brand.

The adjusted operating profit of Bayford Oil for the year to the end of June was € 3.9 million.
