A large business and residential development will create up to 600 jobs in Midleton, Co Cork. Cork Co-operative Marts is preparing a planning application for Market Green, a £100 million (€127 million) mixed-use development.
The development is proposed for the co-operative's 30-acre Midleton Mart site adjacent to the town centre. The development will comprise a business park, retail mall, supermarket, retail warehousing, pub, restaurant, showrooms, residential housing and offices.
