GREENCORE, THE international manufacturer of convenience foods and ingredients, is relocating its headquarters from Earlsfort Terrace to Northwood Business Campus in Santry Demesne near Dublin Airport.

Established in 1926 as the State-sponsored Irish Sugar Limited, it has been based in Earlsfort Terrace since then and in 1991 was privatised.

The new headquarters overlooks part of the parkland of old Santry Demesne including a lake.

The building is positioned between the Aer Arann HQ and the Crowne Plaza Holiday and the Holiday Inn Express hotels.

Michael Healy of Savills says that the success of Northwood Business Campus stemmed from its array of on-site facilities and its ease of access – it is just a few mintues’ drive away from Dublin Airport and the Dublin Port Tunnel.

It is also only minutes off the M1 and the M50, and would have a dedicated station on the MetroNorth rail line when it was completed.

Other companies with offices in the campus include Amgen, Athletics Ireland, BMW, the National Standards Authority and Adwalker plc.
