CITYJET spread its commercial wings last night, announcing that in addition to its services to London, it would next month begin, direct flights between Dublin and Paris Charles de Gaulle. The service would be aimed primarily at business travellers, but would offer some economy class tickets at £99, the company said.
The move will deepen CityJet's relationship with the French national carrier, Air France. The Irish airline already operates five return services per weekday on behalf of Air France between London City airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle. From May 1st, it will operate a code share agreement with Air France on the new route, and has appointed Air France as its general sales agent in France.
Air France will also promote and sell CityJet services to Dublin in other major markets, using Charles de Gaulle as a hub.
