September 15th, 1995: Mr Pat Dineen succeeds Mr Brendan Halligan as chairman.
December 1995: The board is briefed about a Revenue Commissioners audit which objected to Bord na Mona's payment method.
April 20th 1996: Dr O'Connor says Craig Gardner/Price Waterhouse review is absolutely "routine".
April 22nd: Price Waterhouse report shows Dr O'Connor received over £140,000 in expenses payments over three years.
April 25th: At eight hour board meeting directors seek further information. A new report is commissioned. Report requested by the department of Transport, Energy and Communications.
April 27th: Worker directors ask for emergency board meeting.
June 6th: Board meets to consider new report. It adjourns meeting and gives Dr O Connor a week to clarify issues.
June 9th: Details of draft report leaked to two Sunday newspapers. The reports say that when Dr O'Connor's salary, bonus, pension contributions and all personal and business expenses were added over his nine year term, the total came to £1.86 million.
Dr O'Connor says the majority of his expenses were of no benefit to him.
June 10th: Board meeting postponed for three days to allow Dr O'Connor to meet consultants at Price Waterhouse.
June 14th: Board postpones fourth meeting for five days because Dr O'Connor has not met consultants. Mr Dineen, says Mr Halligan approved Dr O'Connor's package, but not individual expenses.
June 19th: Board meets to study final Price Waterhouse's report. It is still unhappy with package.
June 24th: Dr O'Connor attends board meeting to seek extra time.
