Debt management company Certus is expanding its operations in Ireland, adding 50 new jobs as it broadens its client base.

The company, which provides outsourced debt and portfolio management services in the Republic and Northern Ireland, said most of the new jobs would be based at its head office in Dublin. They will be in retail debt management and collections, and in commercial banking and operations.

Certus already employs more than 800 people. It was established in 2010 to run down Bank of Scotland Ireland’s business here.
