A trial CD Rom version of the Golden Pages telephone directory has been introduced for a free introductory period until early next year. It has been constructed to comply with the Data Protection Act, after the Golden Pages website (www.goldenpages.ie) had to shut down its personal directory section in February because of a breach of the Act.

The Golden Pages is seeking feedback and comments on the product, and plans to make it commercially available next year for an annual cost of around £49. The CD-Rom is available by calling 1800 20 20 20, or can be ordered online through an order form at www.goldenpages.ie/cdrom
