Current Account was momentarily taken aback to read an announcement from IFG Group plc, which announced that some of its magazines, including Viz, were to increase their frequency.
Had Richard Hayes and Joe Moran suddenly decided to expand from financial services into magazine publishing? Apparently not.
Viz is probably not mandatory or chosen reading in the business community. For those not yet aware of its unique style, Viz is an adult comic whose characters include such charmers as The Zits and the Fat Slags.
Definitely not the sort of reading matter one would associate with Messrs Hayes and Moran.
Apart from our own IFG, there is also another AIM-listed IFG, which publishes a range of comics and magazines and is definitely not involved in financial services.
