CREDITOR's of Bray-based fresh foods distributor, Chieftain Foods International, will seek to have the company wound up next week. The future of the company, which lost distribution deals for two of its biggest imported brands, St Ivel and Danone, will be discussed at a meeting next Monday.

Chieftain was set up in the 1980s by Dublin businessman, Mr John Clancy. According to the last accounts filed at the Companies Office it incurred losses of £73,000.
