Investors who had the courage to invest in the Far East this year have done well. BCP Stockbroker's latest investment funds review, shows that funds invested in the Japanese stock market have delivered gains of 30 per cent in the first six months.

Europe, by contrast, has generated fairly mixed reviews. While the European market overall grew by approximately 10 per cent, individual states showed marked differences in performance.
