Bord na Mona appointment

BORD na Mona has announced the appointment of Carr Communications as public affairs and training consultants to the company. The appointment was made by tender. In a statement Bord na Mona managing director, Mr Paddy Hughes, thanked Heneghan Public Relations for "the professionalism and expertise demonstrated during their periods working for the company".

Heneghan worked for Bord na Mona during the period immediately before the resignation of former chief executive, Dr Eddie O'Connor, who resigned after the board concluded that his remuneration package broke Government guidelines.
