CGU Life has announced an interim with-profit bonus of 6 per cent on its unitised with-profit funds, down from 6.5 per cent last year. The bonus on its with-profit pensions is 7 per cent. CGU launched its Portfolio Bond last March. CGU Life was formed from the merger of General Accident and Commercial Union and is Britain's largest life and general insurance group with operations in more than 50 countries worldwide.
