One of McCann Erickson's 48 sheets for the Bank of Ireland GAA sponsorship scooped the Grand Prix award at this year's OMA poster awards. The "sheep" poster with its county-coloured sheep and its smart "ask not what your county can do for you" copy line was created by Mr Jonathan Stanistreet and Mr Shay Madden. The judges commented that this "fabulous poster goes to the heart of the grassroots of the championship".

Other big winners on the night were Peter Owens, for its "old man" poster for Volkswagen and its "twisted glass" Carlsberg ad, and Irish International, for its "chasers" ad for Black and White Whiskey. Photographer Mr Dave Campbell won in the photography section for his work on McCawley Nea's "lollipop" campaign for Club Orange.
