Andersen Consulting is to sponsor visiting academic, Prof Mary Rose Greville, in the chair of Management of Strategic Change at Trinity College Business School. The sponsorship is part of a year long programme aimed at raising the awareness of the strategic importance of "change management capability" to Irish companies.

Announcing the programme, the company said that, too often, organisations take the view that change management is a task to be undertaken to cope with market driven changes. However, the real source of competitive advantage lies in building a capacity to change into each organisation.
