MY CHRISTMAS quiz last month drew a large number of entries.
Once again, it threw up some interesting answers. Many thought Terry Clontz, the STT executive who resigned from the board of Eircom in December and was one of four business people pictured in question 30, was either Chris Horn of Iona fame or Eric Schmidt of Google.
One reader in Tipperary thought the Irish Cave Rescue Organisation might be the answer to Question 34 about which business group celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2011.
The Fitzpatrick Shoe Company was offered as the answer by entrants from Longford and Donegal.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland was the answer I was looking for, but congratulations to the cave rescuers and Fitzpatrick for their longevity.
The Terry Clontz picture tripped up most of you but not our winner, Pat Nolan from Blackrock in Co Dublin.
Pat wins a fantastic city break in London, courtesy of airline BMI and the four-star Cavendish hotel.
Thank you to everyone else who took the time to enter the quiz. Better luck next year.
