AIBIM fund underperforms

FIRST Ireland Investment Company, the "country fund" managed by AIB Investment Managers, has reported poor 1995 results with an 18.7 per cent increase in net asset value, substantially underperforming the rise in the Irish stock market.

In the same period, the ISEQ Overall Index rose by 29.6 per cent.
