African chief gets greater distance with new woods

THE man from Grand Met also told the one about a group of businessmen who went for a golfing holiday in Africa. They crashed in thick bush on the flight home. The sole survivor struggled out of the wreck and heard the distant sound of drums.

For three days he fought his way through the hush following the sound. Eventually he came to a clearing. In the middle of it, a chieftain clad in a leopard skin was banging two huge drums with a driver and a three wood.

"I must have followed the sound of your drums for 50 miles," gasped the survivor. "Yes, I'm getting real distance with these new woods," replied the chieftain.
