A DONEGAL Gaeltacht based manufacturer of healthcare products is to create 101 new jobs in a major expansion of its plant in Gweedore, Co Donegal. BMR Teoranta, which currently employs 120 people at Gweedore and a further 37 at its research and development centre in Galway, will create the 101 jobs over the next two to three years.

BMR manufactures the Neurotech range of muscle stimulators and Slendertone body toning products. More than 90 per cent of sales over the past four years have come from in house developed products and the company has marketing subsidiaries in Germany, Japan and the US.
