REAL MADRID striker Predrag Mijatovic fired an 18th minute goal to sustain Yugoslavia's perfect record in Group Six against the Czech Republic in Belgrade yesterday.

Yugoslavia have 12 points from four wins in four matches and an 18-2 goals record. The Czech Republic are third, eight points behind the leaders but with a game in hand.

Yugoslavia's early offensive was rewarded when Mijatovic slotted the ball past goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek after receiving a pass from Dragan Stojkovic.

The Czechs took the initiative towards the end of the first half but Pavel Kuka twice squandered chances.
