SOCCER: WOLVES OFFICIALS have indicated that they hope to strike a deal to extend Kevin Doyle's contract amid reports that the Republic of Ireland striker has again attracted interest from other clubs.
Doyle’s current employers, however, insist that they intend to keep the 27-year-old at Molineux and club chairman Steve Morgan has hinted they will seek to talk with his representatives about an extension to his current deal which has two years left to run.
“I’m sure we’ll have those conversations with Kevin and his agent at the right time,” he said. “Kevin has been a fantastic signing for this club and is a really, really key player for us. We’d like to secure his services.”
