Wexford 4-22 Laois 1-14:WEXFORD HUMILIATED Laois by 17 points in this hugely onesided Division Two clash at Wexford Park yesterday.

This game was over as a contest inside nine minutes, by which stage the home side led 2-3 to 0-1, thanks to early goals from Rory Jacob and Nickey Kirwan.

Wexford went on to cruise into a 2-13 to 0-8 interval lead. Kirwan added his second goal after 42 minutes and a minute later Rory Jacob struck again. Willie Hyland’s goal was a rare high point for Laois on a bleak day for the O’Moore men.
