Chelsea v Aston Villa

Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas must decide whether to recall midfielder Ramires following his one-match ban, while defenders John Terry and Jose Bosingwa have shaken off knocks. Villa hope to have record signing Darren Bent available after a three-game absence with a thigh problem.

Odds: Chelsea 2-7 Aston Villa 10-1 Draw 4-1

Swansea v Tottenham H

Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers will make a late call over the fitness of full back Angel Rangel (ankle) but centre half Steven Caulker misses out due to the terms of his loan from Spurs. Michael Dawson (Achilles), Aaron Lennon (hamstring) and Ledley King (knee) are out for Spurs.

Odds: Swansea 4-1 Tottenham 4-6 Draw 27-10

West Brom v Everton

West Brom are on a good run, having taken seven points from a possible nine, but their record at The Hawthorns is poor. Youssouf Mulumbu is injured but James Morrison is fit and could play against an Everton team that sit one place below them. Everton will be without Marouane Fellaini but Jack Rodwell should return.

Odds: West Brom 8-5 Everton 33-20 Draw 11-5

Bolton v Wolves

Bolton remain woeful at home, losing eight of nine there this season, including a 2-0 loss to Newcastle on St Stephen’s Day. They must now also deal with the impending departure of Gary Cahill to Chelsea but it is likely he will play. Wolves midfielder Nenad Milijas starts a three-match ban.

Odds: Bolton 6-5 Wolves 11-5 Draw 9-4

Arsenal v QPR

Robin van Persie needs three goals to beat Alan Shearer’s record Premier League haul in a calendar year and he could be boosted by the return of winger Theo Walcott. QPR came out unscathed from their 1-1 draw at Swansea but Anton Ferdinand remains doubtful with a hamstring injury.

Odds: Arsenal 1-4 QPR 10-1 Draw 9-2

Sunderland v Manchester C

Defenders Phil Bardsley (thigh) and Titus Bramble (Achilles/calf) are major doubts for Sunderland. With Michael Turner (knee) also on the casualty list, manager Martin O’Neill is short of defensive options. Manchester City full backs Micah Richards and Aleksandar Kolarov are back in contention.

Odds: Sunderland 6-1 Man City 9-20 Draw 16-5

Stoke v Wigan

Stoke boss Tony Pulis will assess striker Peter Crouch and midfielder Glenn Whelan, who have missed the last two games through illness and a calf injury respectively. Wigan will have Irish striker Conor Sammon available after the red card he picked up at Manchester United was rescinded.

Odds: Stoke 4-6 Wigan 21-5 Draw 13-5

Norwich v Fulham

Norwich left back Marc Tierney is 50-50 with a groin injury, while the influential Ritchie de Laet (back) remains doubtful. With the January sales about to open Martin Jol may not risk Bobby Zamora (Achilles) given the differences between the pair, while Damien Duff is another concern.

Odds: Norwich 8-5 Fulham 13-8 Draw 9-4

Manchester U v Blackburn

Chris Smalling (tonsillitis) has added to Alex Ferguson’s defensive problems. Phil Jones and Rio Ferdinand are doubtful, which might mean Michael Carrick partnering Patrice Evra in central defence, with Antonio Valencia at right back. Martin Olsson (hamstring) is hoping to return for Blackburn.

Odds: Man Utd 1-8 Blackburn 18-1 Draw 7-1
