Castle Avenue, which has hosted a couple of major matches already this season, will be the venue for another big one today when Merrion and Pembroke meet in the final of the Leinster Senior 50 Overs League. Both teams have a number of match-winners with bat and ball and appear evenly matched.

Meanwhile, victory for Leinster over Munster at The Mardyke tomorrow would secure them the Interprovincial Championship. A repeat of their recent success against North would give Munster a share of the spoils.
