Waterford 1-15 Carlow 0-11EDDIE ROCKETT scored a superb 56th minute goal to kill off Carlow's hopes at Dr Cullen Park, Carlow yesterday. Rockett's goal gave Waterford a 1-11 to 0-7 lead.
Waterford dominated the first half and led by 0-9 to 0-5 at the interval. Carlow's hopes of recovery were hit a minute into the second half when midfielder Patrick Walsh received a straight red card from referee Eddie Craul.
