Waterford IT 1-22 Ulster Colleges 1-3: Waterford IT cruised into the semi-finals of the Fitzgibbon Cup yesterday, easily dispatching the combined Ulster Colleges side.

Adrian Cullinane put Waterford ahead in the first minute before the Ulster side shocked the reigning champions with a goal from Brendan Quinn.

From there on in it was all Waterford as Brian Dowling replied with a point and then a goal and the game was over as a contest when Waterford led by 1-12 to 1-1 at the half-time break.
