Sligo SFC:Matthew Walsh clenched a 1-11 to 0-9 semi-final victory over St Johns for Tourlestrane with a late goal in their Sligo SFC semi-final in Tubbercurry yesterday.

St Johns, contesting their first ever senior semi-final, were five points in arrears 0-6 to 0-1, at halftime but they put in a storming secondhalf performance.

Thomas Cryan scored a goal and a point from two penalties and blasted another over the bar as Eastern Harps beat Easkey 1-13 to 0-6 in their semi-final replay.
