Tyson hurt in bike spill

Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is in hospital after being injured in a motorcycle accident in Manchester, Connecticut. Early reports said Tyson suffered injuries to his right side, including broken ribs, in the accident which involved no other vehicle.

A hospital spokesman said: "He was travelling at approximately 20 miles per hour when he hit a patch of sand.

"The extent of his injuries is yet to be determined but he has no head injuries and went home for four hours after the crash before going to the hospital."
