Still ahead in the ongoing goalkeeping competition with Pascal McConnell, he's reliable and a good shot-stopper. Consistent kick-outs and has a good relationship with Justin McMahon and his defence.

2 Ryan McMenamin(Dromore)

Age: 30. Height: 5ft 10in. Weight: 12st 7lb.

Occupation: Civil servant.

Despite the possibility of his matching up with Cooper, he's not an out-and-out man marker. More comfortable playing with a bit more freedom out the field. Plays on the edge more than he needs to.

3Justin McMahon(Omagh)

Age: 22. Height: 6ft 3in. Weight: 13st 7lb.

Occupation: Student.

Another inspired piece of casting, he has stood up well in a problem position. Has physique, pace and football but faces a severe test if he stays on Donaghy, who has scored goals in both his finals.

4Ciarán Gourley (Rock)

Age: 29. Height: 6ft. Weight: 12st 6lb.

Occupation: Teacher.

Although a converted half back, he has become a strong, no-nonsense marker. A good temperament and shows well on big days in Croke Park - despite the lapse that led to Wexford's Ciarán Lyng's goal.

5Davy Harte(Errigal Ciarán)

Age: 26. Height: 5ft 10in. Weight: 11st 7lb.

Occupation: Teacher.

Like Philip Jordan he really enjoys getting forward but has to remember his primary defensive duty. When programmed to attack as much as he is, there's always a danger of getting caught out.

6Conor Gormley(Carrickmore)

Age: 27. Height: 5ft 11in. Weight: 13st 10lb.

Occupation: Electrician. Tyrone's best defender and very versatile. If matched with Declan O'Sullivan or Donaghy, the game could turn on the outcome. Good at covering his full backs in '05 but can he do that and mark?

7Philip Jordan(Moy)

Age: 28. Height: 5ft 11in. Weight: 12st 8lb.

Occupation: Accountant.

Highly impressive during past couple of seasons. His ability to defend doesn't suffer as a result of his adventurous counter-attacking and ball retention is excellent. Excels on big occasions.

8Colin Holmes(Armagh Harps)

Age: 32. Height: 6ft. Weight: 13st 8lb.

Occupation: Teacher.

Main task will be to block kick-outs away from Darragh Ó Sé but may struggle to compete in the air and could need help to contest breaks. If he struggles it will prompt Cavanagh to switch.

9Enda McGinley (Errigal Ciarán)

Age: 27. Height: 6ft 1in. Weight: 14st.

Occupation: Physiotherapist.

Team's most consistent performer this year. Big asset is his mobility and experience on big days. Very unselfish player, who'll cover back as well as support the attack as he has a fantastic engine.

10Brian Dooher (Clann na nGael) Capt

Age: 33. Height: 5ft 10in. Weight: 12st 7lb.

Occupation: Veterinarian.

Has recovered from chronic injury and rediscovered the ability to get around the field and get on the ball. Tireless whether helping defence or aiding attack and can score off either foot. Ultimate team player.

11Brian McGuigan (Ardboe)

Age: 28. Height: 5ft 10in. Weight: 12st 8lb.

Occupation: Publican.

A nightmare series of injuries have impaired his mobility but still has the same football brain. Excellent temperament but mightn't make 70 minutes. Martin Penrose is an able deputy.

12Joe McMahon(Omagh)

Age: 25. Height: 6ft 2in. Weight: 13st 8lb.

Occupation: School coach.

Versatile and capable player, who has battled injury since 2005, his main task will be to bolster midfield and offer additional physicality around the middle.

13Tommy McGuigan(Ardboe)

Age: 25. Height: 6ft. Weight: 12st 7lb.

Occupation: Joiner.

Much improved player who now looks a real danger in front of goal. Accurate kicker and capable of making unselfish runs, he's a quality forward but isn't that physically strong and could struggle to win ball in tight exchanges.

14Seán Cavanagh (Moy)

Age: 25. Height: 6ft 2in. Weight: 14st.

Occupation: Accountant.

Brings strength, mobility and skill to the full forwards, the confidence to take on defences and the power and pace to beat them. A good performance and Tyrone are on the way but he may be needed farther out.

15Colm McCullagh (Dromore)

Age: 30. Height: 5ft 8in. Weight: 12st.

Occupation: Leisure manager.

Most improved Tyrone forward this year and has become a dangerous playmaker, with the composure to spot the right pass and capable of picking it out. At his best when drifting out to the half forwards.
