Jeanette Turner marked her first competitive game as player-coach of Pegasus by scoring five of the Ulster champions' goals in a 10-0 drubbing of North Down on the opening weekend of the league season.

Irish international Clare McMahon also scored a hat-trick in the game, a feat matched by her international team-mate, Julie Stewart, in Ards' 4-1 win away to Coleraine.

Newly-promoted Ballymoney made a winning start to their campaign, beating Victorians 3-0, with the first of their goals coming from Czech Republic international, Klara Poloprutska.
