Tralee CBS won the Munster Colleges SFC for the first time since 1976 when they beat St Flannan's in a closely contested final at Rathkeale.

A goal by Brian Fitzpatrick had St Flannan's in front, 1-3 to 0-4, at the interval but they had a player sent off just on half-time and this proved costly in the end. In an exciting second half, the sides were level with 13 minutes to play but a goal by Quill put Tralee on the road to victory.
