Tralee bounce back for league

Garvey's Tigers Tralee will play in this year's Budweiser Superleague

Garvey's Tigers Tralee will play in this year's Budweiser Superleague. Last week the basketball club dropped out of the league, citing "administration burn-out" as the reason. Last weekend efforts were made to save the club and a new committee was put in place to resurrect the club.

The club will operate with the same team as last season, but a new committee will handle the administrative duties. The club confirmed to the IBA on Wednesday that they wished to stay in the league and the NCC approved their application early yesterday morning.

The club also confirmed that Garvey's will continue their sponsorship. Tralee will now face Neptune at home in their first game of the season.
