Mayo SH Final: Toreen 1-8 Ballyhaunis 0-7  Tooreen reclaimed their senior hurling title in a repeat of last year's final at Ballyhaunis on Saturday.

It brought their title haul to 29 and there was never any doubt about the outcome despite a spirited effort from a young Ballyhaunis team.

Tooreen were on top in the first half and lead by 1-4 to 0-4 at half-time, the crucial goal coming from veteran midfielder Dom Greally on the 15-minute mark.

Freeman sealed the issue in second half injury time with a point against the breeze from the left touchline, 40 yards out.
