Connacht SHC Final

Portumna (Galway) v James Stephens(Mayo), 2pm - A good replay win over Athleague gives Ballina the flickering chance of a Connacht double with their footballers also qualified for this year's provincial final. The All-Ireland winners of 2006 will, however, be packing too much power.

Leinster SHC Semi-finals

Ballyhale Shamrocks(Kilkenny) v Birr(Offaly), Nowlan Park, 2pm - Shamrocks were playing down the likelihood of James "Cha" Fitzpatrick making a reappearance tomorrow afternoon so the double deprivation of himself and Henry Shefflin continues and further difficulty is added with the loss of Eamonn Fitzpatrick, a capable forward, who is off to Australia.

By way of compensation Keith Nolan returned from injury in the unexpectedly narrow quarter-final win against Mount Leinster Rangers. Birr confirmed their mastery of Offaly with Brian Whelahan top scoring at centre forward.

Despite his presence and a couple of others this a relatively young side but the results against Kilkenny teams have been slipping in recent times and, if Ballyhale look unlikely to rip it up as they did when the sides met in last year's final, they still have enough to win.

Ballyboden St Enda's(Dublin) v Camross(Laois), Parnell Park, 2pm - Great comeback and performance from Ballyboden last week against Oulart-the-Ballagh, lending credence to theories that they could compete at a high level once they managed to get out of Dublin.

Camross aren't the big physical team of old but a young side, whose hurling has impressed in the county championship and this is the club's first provincial campaign since winning Leinster 11 years ago. On form though the Dublin team, with Conal Keaney's touch improving on every outing, have to be favourites.

Leinster SFC Quarter-finals (replays)

Seneschalstown(Meath) v St Vincent's(Dublin), Páirc Tailteann, 2.15pm - Whereas both teams will feel they've room for improvement, Vincent's left more behind them the last day, failing to build a first-half lead commensurate with possession and chances and not getting a sustained display from their forwards with Diarmuid Connolly particularly disappointing.

Seneschalstown are a bit too reliant on the early ball into Joe Sheridan but it works for them. Having made things unduly difficult for themselves last week the Dublin champions should progress.

Dromard (Longford) v Moorefield (Kildare), Pearse Park, 2.15pm - Like Vincent's in the above match, Moorefield should have had a better lead at half-time but Francis McGee's goal just before the break cut a comfortable five-point lead down to two.

The Leinster champions will be annoyed at not finishing this the first day but, as happened a year ago when they drew with Horeswood on the way to the title, they're capable of better and likely to out do Dromard this time.

Munster SHC Semi-finals

Tulla(Clare) v Ballyduff Upper(Waterford), Cusack Park, 2pm - All four semi-finalists are pretty inexperienced at this stage and each will fancy their chances but Tulla have to cope without Andrew Quinn, who was injured in the county final, for tomorrow's semi-final against a Ballyduff side that gave a great display in defeating Ballygunner in the county final.

The Clare team's physical-pressure game will be a major test for the visitors but one they are capable of passing.

Adare(Limerick) v Loughmore- Castleiney(Tipperary), Gaelic Grounds, 2pm - Adare are the nearest thing to hoary old campaigners in the championship, having won a county title as recently as five years ago.

Loughmore surprised many with their confident dispatch of Erin's Own in the quarter-final. Micheál Webster's ball winning and Noel McGrath's precocious self assurance were the most notable features.

That match practice gives them an edge going into this, as Adare's county final victory was a bloodless coup against Croom.

Ulster SFC Semi-finals

Crossmaglen Rangers(Armagh) v Dromore(Tyrone), Clones, 2.15pm - The Cross juggernaut rumbles on with a deserved but hair-raising win over Clontibret thrown into doubt by the Monaghan club's late comeback.

The work rate and familiar ability to scavenge through Oisín McConville is still in evidence but this will be a big test, as Dromore looked to have gone the way of all new county winners when failing to put away Mayobridge the first day. But they survived the trip to Newry and will be up to the tempo for this.

The Down champions, however, aren't what they were and it's hard to look beyond the All-Ireland holders even if they're missing centre back John Donaldson through suspension.

St Gall's(Antrim) v Glenullin(Derry), Casement Park, 2.15pm - Interesting clash between the champions of two years ago and the vibrant new Derry standard bearers, who feature the Bradleys. Gall's are an intelligent, tactical team that brought their pressing game to a highly effective level en route to the All-Ireland final two seasons ago. With Kieran McGourty in excellent form they have the experience and know-how to engineer a win here.

All-Ireland Camogie Senior Final

Athenry(Galway) v Cashel(Tipperary), Gaelic Grounds, 12.15pm - Athenry deposed All-Ireland champions St Lachtain's of Freshford in the semi-final, establishing a big early lead and hanging on to win by five. Both they and their opponents are looking for a first title.

Cashel feature some familiar names from Tipperary's successes in the past eight years, but may fall short tomorrow.
