Templeogue College advanced to the semi-finals of the Leinster Schools' Junior Cup Section A with a win over Sandford Park at Lakelands Park yesterday.
The Ranelagh side took the lead in the 12th minute with a penalty directly in front of the posts from Mark Kelly.
However, just two minutes later, Templeogue recovered when Mark Flood scored a try which Cian Keogh converted from a tight angle.
Templeogue carried the lead to half-time despite Kelly landing another penalty for Sandford after 20 minutes to reduce the deficit to 7-6.
In the second half, Templeogue had to defend well before Keogh extended the margin.
