Team Check: Selections and news

Laois SF

Laois SF

Tom Cribben resigned as county manager at a board meeting last night. In a two-year term, Cribben guided Laois to a Leinster semi-final against Dublin, in which they lost in a replay, while this year they bowed out in the first round to Westmeath. He also looked after this year's under-21 team that exited tamely to Meath.

Armagh SF

Armagh have kept faith with the side which overcame Tyrone for Sunday's semi-final against Fermanagh. There are only two changes from last year's All-Ireland semi-final team, with Stephen McDonnell and the versatile Cathal O'Rourke joining the forward lines.

Pat King has made two changes to the team that defeated Donegal and has also left two vacancies in the hope that Paul Courtney and Raymond Gallagher recover full fitness. Management are reasonably hopeful that Courtney and Gallagher will be fit.
