There is one change to the team that overcame Tipperary in the Munster semi-final as Clare hope to emulate their historic 1992 win in Sunday's Munster final against Kerry. Joe Considine, drafted in during the league, replaces Dessie Mologhan, coming in at midfield alongside Donal O'Sullivan. David Russell moves to the full forward spot occupied by Mologhan last time out. Considine, who plays his football with Cooraclare, is also a member of the St Joseph's Doora-Barefield club which relinquished the All-Ireland hurling title to Athenry in March. Considine made an appearance as a substitute in the closing stages of the victory over Tipperary. The experienced Brendan Rouine is listed among the substitutes.
