SYDNEY - Organisers of the 2000 Olympics in Sydney said they will consider creating a giant security zone covering all the main venues in the wake of the Atlanta blast.

Mr Mal Hemmerling, chief executive of Sydney Olympics organising committee, said the current plan for 2000 is to have security surrounding each of the major sites in the Sydney Olympic Park at Homebush Bay. But that may now change.
