ALL-IRELAND COLLEGES' SENIOR A HURLING FINAL: St Kieran's College 2-10 Ard Scoil Rís 1-11ST KIERAN'S displayed the character of champions once again on Saturday to retain the All-Ireland Colleges' senior A hurling title at Semple Stadium.
Limerick-based Ardscoil Rís appeared to have the hard work done as they led by 1-11 to 1-9 heading into stoppage time before two-goal Thomas O’Hanrahan bulged the net with 61 minutes and 30 seconds played.
Substitute Richie Reid popped over a point seconds later to seal the win before Jamie Shanahan saw his late effort blocked away as Ardscoil desperately chased a winning goal.
