Manager Mike Kerley feels Reynolds will provide the on-field experience his young squad has lacked all season.

"This is a great day for Waterford United," Kerley said. "Alan's decision to rejoin the club is a boost for everyone at Waterford United."

Waterford have also signed defender Mitchell Casey from Waterford Crystal while James Chambers extends his loan period from Shelbourne.

Dublin City have signed 20-year-old striker Lee Roche from St Patrick's Athletic and he goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's game with Shelbourne.

"He's a talented lad and we've tracked him for some time," says Vikings manager Dermot Keely. "He has bundles of skill and I know he'll do well with us."

Keely had to reinforce his attacking department as Robbie Collins and Ger McCarthy are both sidelined through injury.
