FAI to invest €100k to help clubs compete strategic plans

The FAI will invest up to €100,000 to help SSE Airtricity League clubs complete their five-year strategic plans over the coming months, with each of the 20 clubs entitled to up to €5,000.

The announcement was made ahead of the FAI AGM in Tipperary following a meeting with the Premier Clubs Association, which represents the clubs.

"Strategic Planning is a fundamental part of any business and the need for all clubs to have five-year viable strategic plans can not be underestimated," said FAI director of competitions Fran Gavin.

“We have 20 independent businesses operating in the SSE Airtricity League and they all have individual priorities and goals. The Consultation Process Report outlined the need for our clubs to have clear strategies in areas of sport, business and community.”
