CONNACHT UNDER-21 FC SEMI-FINALS: Galway 2-20 Sligo 0-7:SLIGO SLUMPED to one of their heaviest ever defeats when losing by 19 points at Markievicz Park on Saturday. Mark Hehir and Eric Monaghan scored two goals and 12 points between them.

Galway were six points in front before Pádraig Clarke pointed for Sligo in the 12th minute. Monaghan goaled in the 15th minute and Galway led 1-14 to 0-1 at half-time. Sligo scored four unanswered points early in the second half, three by Brian Harris.
