Kerry 0-13 Cork 0-11:KERRY DETHRONED Cork as Munster Minor Football champions with a deserved win in an entertaining semi-final at Páirc Uí Rinn last evening.

The slick-moving Kingdom, who scored 12 of their points from play, led by 0-7 to 0-6 at the interval after playing with the strong wind.

The twin threat of Barry John Keane and Barry John Walsh was responsible for many Kerry scores with Paul Honohan dangerous at the other end for Cork.

The sides were level twice during the third quarter, but crucial points from captain Paul Geaney and Walsh edged Kerry in front before Cork rallied in the closing 10 minutes.
