Six players scored six tries to hint at Lansdowne's all round superiority over hosts Old Belvedere in this Smithwicks floodlit cup semi-final at Anglesea last night.

Tries from Rory Kearns and international prop Reggie Corrigan were the main instruments of Lansdowne's 15-5 half-time lead.

Kearns struck a penalty conversion in that half and ended up with a tally of 18 points.

He converted the four second-half tries from Liam Toland, Nicholas Albertz, Stephen O'Connor and Shane McEntee.

They sucked Belvedere in and released to the wide men Marcus Dillon and Albertz with telling effect and when Belvedere's line of defence became too thin they rampaged through the middle with hooker, Paul Grimes and Corrigan prominent.

They now go on to face Clontarf in next week's final.
